CLASSICAL WALTZ

GIVEN: Actually considered a career in concert music at one time, having studied Classical guitar in Santa Barbara. My teacher had high hopes for me. Had me give a recital after two years of hard work. CATCH: I KNEW even then I did not want to practice six to eight hours a day for the rest of my life, needed to have a serious career in performing. From the suite, “Metamorphosis”, this the 2nd movement (A major) aka “Mother’s Waltz”, dedicated to my gifted mother. (Had a working title of “Christmas Waltz”).
